HLSA of Los Angeles Family Picnic and Polo Event

Please join us along with the Harvard Law School Association of Los Angeles for the HLSLA Family Picnic and Polo Event at Will Rogers State Historic Park.

Come early, stay late, or just enjoy Polo with your family and fellow alumni/ae at Will Rogers State Historic Park Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 1:00pm-4:00pm. Note: Parking is $12. You're encouraged to carpool or use rideshare.

We will have a reserved section with picnic tables and chairs. Please bring your picnic baskets with snacks and beverages. Look out for the HLSA Los Angeles sign. 

Tea will be served courtesy of Charles & Company.

Will Rogers Park is one of the gems of the State Historic Parks, with free Will Rogers Polo Club games, picnic, BYOB (permitted at the park), hiking and mountain biking trails, as well as free, docent-led house tours at the historic home of Will Rogers. Trails connect to the Santa Monica Mtns backbone trail.

A Visitors Center offers a looping video with footage from the 1920's and 1930's of Will Rogers' displays of humor and talent, as well as a small visitors' shop. For more information, visit http://www.parks.ca.gov/

Don't forget the family dog (must be leashed), Frisbees, kites or other games for the kids. There's a small sand pit for the tiny ones, and hiking trails both short and long (yes, you can hike all the way to Point Mugu). Horses and deer often graze together inside the paddocks.
