The interrelated challenges of climate change, planetary health, and social justice call for commitments of significant resources and for varied new practices of collaboration and reinvention across our institutions. From where will the wisdom and empathy emerge to inspire and mobilize us in these efforts? From science and a better understanding of the risks of inaction, from a reconnection with nature, from listening to other cultures and across generations, or from a flourishing of the arts and civic engagement? Or, all of these? How can we in our lifestyles, our work, and our citizenship break through old habits to co-create new narratives and pathways forward?
