Disability Law Symposium at UCLA

"Disability and the Law: A Focus on Autism, Developmental Disabilities, and the Multi-Disciplinary Nature of Disability" Symposium featuring Harvard Speakers

Please join Harvard alums in attending a Spring Symposium titled "Disability and the Law: A Focus on Autism, Developmental Disabilities, and the Multi-Disciplinary Nature of Disability" hosted by the UCLA Law Disability Law Society (DLS), Autism Speaks U UCLA, and the David Epstein Program in Public Interest Law & Policy (PILP). The Symposium features Harvard-graduate speakers Constantine Psimopoulos, Ph.D. and Shafali Jeste, M.D.

The mission of the Symposium is to promote awareness about the multidisciplinary nature of disability - how it transcends all ethnicities, genders, and socioeconomic levels, as well as the boundaries of different professions. Students, faculty, parents, professionals, community, and friends (including non-UCLA Law affiliates) are all invited to attend and hear from our amazing panelists on topics ranging from medicine, to law, to sports and recreation!

NOTE: An application requesting MCLE credit for this activity is pending approval by the State Bar of California.

Parking: There is both self-service parking (directly outside the law school), which accepts both cash and credit/debit cards, and permit parking, which involves paying at a kiosk, and requires cash (further directions can be found at this link.  There will also be signs outside reading "Disability Law Symposium" leading to the event.
