Alumni New Venture Competition Southwest Regional Finals
Hear entrepreneurs pitch to a panel of judges consisting of some of SoCal’s most successful entrepreneurs, angel investors, and venture capitalists.
Entrepreneurs will have a chance to showcase their ventures, receive feedback, and gain visibility to potential investors, partners, advisors, and clients. The judges will select a finalist who will represent the region at the global semi-finals, and the audience will vote for a crowd favorite.
Successes from past Southwest Regional Competitions: crowd vote winner, ApplicantLab received funding; Veam gained visibility in one of OC’s largest newspaper publication (OC Register); and 2011 winner Anthony Tan’s GrabTaxi is now a $4 billion dollar company.
