The verdict is once again confirmed: What is most sought after in professionals is “the ability to work in a team, to work with a wide variety of people and to build, sustain and expand a network of people…..”  Practical applications like accounting, programming, etc., were secondary. (Financial Times Survey, as reported in The Economist, September 8th, 2018).

It is always about the ‘human – factor’ and as relevant business leaders, we must continue to sharpen this skill set, and even more so now - for most of us, the teams we’re leading are more diverse than ever – but regardless Gen ‘X’, ‘Y’ (aka ‘The Millennials’) or ‘Z’, it always come back to the universal language of framing the ‘WHY’: WHY should teams follow us and WHY should they execute our Vision?

So goes the timeless ‘Art of Leadership’ – getting diverse groups aligned to share a common objective and WANT TO DO, WHAT WE WANT THEM TO DO!

Dryden Pence, is an expert in leadership based on his experience leading members of the US Forces as well as building a hugely successful commercial enterprise. He will kick off our Fall Harvard Leadership Series with a practical and relevant presentation of finding, communicating and implementing ‘The Leadership WHY’. Join us and learn how these steps will help you propel your team forward. We look forward to seeing you on the 20th!
