Lawrence Wan received his Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate degrees from Yale University in Engineering and Applied Sciences. Right after graduation he was recruited to help start the engineering program at UC Santa Barbara. A successful entrepreneur and industrialist, Larry is a prize-winning nature photographer and passionate environmentalist. He is the Chairman and founder of the Western Alliance for Nature, a conservancy dedicated to preserving critical ecosystems and biodiversity.
