CANCELLED: Harvard Alumni Storytelling Show – Call for Pitches
We are excited to announce that our club is partnering with Harvardwood, Harvard Alumni for Education, and First-Generation Harvard Alumni to put on a Los Angeles alumni storytelling show!
WHEN: Saturday, 5/2, 7:00pm-8:30pm
WHERE: Lyric Hyperion Theater
WHAT: True stories told live on stage without notes (a la The Moth)
If you have a 5- to 6-minute story you'd like to tell at the show, please pitch it here by March 1st. Your story doesn't need to be about Harvard, but it does need to be about you. You can find some tips and tricks for what makes a good oral story here (The Moth) and here (RISK!). The call for pitches will be open until Sunday 3/1. The line-up will be finalized by Sunday, 3/15. Chosen tellers will have several phone or Zoom calls with an experienced storytelling coach and a rehearsal (over Zoom) the week of the show.
