Murray Perahia is regarded as the next-generation successor to Rubinstein, Horowitz and the other piano giants of the past century. He is armed with consummate technical skills, boundless imagination and near-mystical eloquence. He was called “a musician of big ideas” who “relishes the opportunity to air them in a large public forum” (The New York Times).
Seating will be located in a central section of the hall. We will have a private pre-concert dinner/reception at 6:00 p.m. in a splendid, brand new building adjacent to the Hall, with a central Dale Chihuly chandelier. The cost of the dinner is included in the price of the event. As a special bonus, CD albums will be distributed free to all members who register by December 15, 2019. After the dinner, we will be conducted into the concert hall by 7:15 p.m. in plenty of time to be seated for the concert at 8:00.
