This February, join Skirball associate curator Erin Clancey and director of education Sheri Bernstein (Harvard MA, '91) for a tour of three related exhibitions on the Civil Rights Movement. The program begins with a walkthrough of the major traveling exhibition Road to Freedom: Photographs of the Civil Rights Movement, 1956-1968; continues with a visit to Breach of Peace: Photographs of Freedom Riders by Eric Etheridge; and ends with a look at several works in An Idea Called Tomorrow, an exhibition in which some of today's leading artists explore their visions for a more civic-minded future.
