Schedule: Meet in outside terrace at 9:45 AM Sat 13 Nov 2021 (Timezone: Pacific). Proof of full vaccination, masking, and entry wristband (will be provided) are required to enter. Walk together to the Huntington Art Museum at 10 AM for viewing of portrait and hearing curator within the hour. You may visit other exhibitions and gardens under closing at 5 pm.

View Kehinde Wiley’s Portrait of a Young Gentleman and Thomas Gainsborough’s Blue Boy at the Huntington with a special guest commentator, Chief Curator of American Art Dennis Carr.

This event is open to members of the Harvard Club of Southern California only.

This is a Harvard Club of Southern California (HCSC) event. HCSC’s current COVID-19 policy for in-person events is as follows:

• All attendees, including children, at an HCSC in-person event must be fully vaccinated, and must present sufficient proof of vaccination consistent with CDC Guidelines: a photo ID and either physical vaccination card or a photo or other proof of the card.
• If the venue or the local city or state health authorities requires masks, then mask must be worn for all attendees over the age of 2 in indoor public settings, regardless of vaccination status.
• All attendees agree to cooperate with HCSC in the event it needs to engage in contact tracing.
• All attendees agree to follow HCSC’s COVID-19 policy, as well as all applicable CDC guidance, local, state and federal orders, regulations and ordinances pertaining to health and safety at all times while at the event.
