Managers working for social justice must reckon with history: many modern-day management practices have roots in U.S. slavery and worker exploitation. Still, we believe that management can be a force for good. At The Management Center, we believe that management, fundamentally, is about conspiring and aligning with your team. This training is going to give you a number of strategies for consistently managing effectively, and there are three elements to that that we need to remember throughout: effective management is equitable, sustainable, and results-driven. At the end of this session, you will be able to identify one concrete practice you can begin implementing to be a more effective manager.
