Are you ready to take charge of your future with intention and purpose? Join us for Designing Your Life, a dynamic and interactive virtual workshop that equips you with tools and strategies to align your personal and professional goals with what truly matters to you.
This workshop is inspired by the Stanford Life Design framework and tailored for Harvard Graduate School of Education students to address the unique challenges and opportunities faced in education and leadership. Through guided exercises, reflection, and group discussions, participants will:
- Explore the principles of design thinking as applied to life and career planning.
- Identify their values, strengths, and passions to create a meaningful “life prototype.”
- Develop actionable strategies to experiment, iterate, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
About the presenter:
Sienna Xu holds a Master’s degree in Education Leadership and Entrepreneurship from Harvard University and a Master’s degree in Foreign Language Education from the University of Pittsburgh. She currently serves as an Academic Advisor at the Harvard College Advising Programs Office, specializing in mentoring first-year students. Additionally, she is the Vice Chair of the Education Committee for the Hong Kong International Economic and Trade Association and is a certified Life Design Coach from Stanford University. She is also a certified Positive Psychology Trainer and has served as the Student Experience Program Coordinator at the Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Teaching and Learning Lab.
As a Master Trainer for UNESCO, Sienna Xu has led Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and EdTech training programs for teachers in public schools in countries like Africa and India. She brings extensive work and teaching experience from China, the United States, and Portugal.
