The Sotheby's website states: the "collection brings together masterpieces of Modern and Contemporary art, Jewelry and Important Design, with striking coherence, weaving a dialogue between artists as diverse as Joan Miró, Mark Rothko, Alexander Calder, Pablo Picasso, David Hockney, and Frank Stella. These works together mirror the spirit of a collector deeply attuned to the beauty of her surroundings and the cultural pulse of her city.

Highlights from the collection include Alexander Calder's L'Arlequin (1965) an exquisite example of the artist's revolutionary standing mobiles. Stretching over 70 inches and featuring seven angular elements cantilevered on a dynamic oblique base, L'Arlequin exemplifies the best of Calder's kinetic sculptures. The collection is further distinguished by one of Mark Rothko's acclaimed paintings on paper, Untitled from 1967, which is distinguished by the dramatic tension between its upper and lower registers: an ethereal white cloud hovers above an atmospheric black haze in perfect balance. Dating to the transformative period in the artist's mature career in which painting on paper became the central focus of the artist's practice, Untitled is a luminescent example of Rothko's work."

The exhibition is in Los Angeles from September 25-October 1, then touring London, Hong Kong, and Paris, before auction in New York in November and December 2025.
