Please join us for our first LA chapter cultural event this September! We will be having a guided tour of the Chinese American Museum in downtown Los Angeles. A docent will be taking our group through a few of their current exhibits, including:
* Remember Angel Island: a commemorative exhibition of the 100th year anniversary of the opening of Angel Island Immigration Station, a portal of fascinating experience in Asian American history
* The Hollywood Chinese: a groundbreaking display of movie memorabilia collected during research for Arthur Dong’s documentary on the Chinese in American feature films
Cost: Admission to the museum is free, but a $3 donation for adults is suggested.
