Undergrads/Recent Grads Event - First Fridays on Abbot Kinney in Venice
Join us on Abbot Kinney Blvd in Venice for First Fridays -- a monthly affair with stores and galleries open late, live music, the infamous LA gourmet food trucks. The timing is right for J-term, so come on down and make some friends.
When: Friday 7 Jan 2011, 6pm onwards
Who: Current undergrads ('11-'14) and recent grads '05-'10
Where: near Abbot Kinney Blvd, Venice CA (exact location TBA)
Bring: 20 bucks or so for the food trucks
So you're back in LA. Awesome! You're not losing your fingers to frostbite anymore, home cooking is better than the dining hall, and there are no papers to write. Bonus. However, one thing seems to be missing: a social life.
Have no fear -- your Harvard Club of SoCal is here. We're going to have a little gathering/adventure for ya. Meet at the home of a local alum (most likely mine, your friendly neighborhood Recent Grads and HUGS for THUGS coordinator) to meet your fellow classmates and pre-party. From there, we go to Abbot Kinney Blvd in Venice for First Fridays -- a monthly affair with stores and galleries open late, live music, the infamous LA gourmet food trucks, a secret courtyard with S'mores (?), general mischief and mild mayhem. It's one of the coolest things to do in LA, and the timing is right for J-term, so come on down and make some friends.
