Event Details:
The New Venture Contest (NVC) is a business plan competition for HBS alumni. Participants submitted plans in February and have now been through the first round of judging. On March 29, the 8 NVC finalists in Southern California will compete for valuable prizes and the chance to go to the final round in Boston. At this fun and competitive event, the Southern California NVC finalists will present their business plans in front of an esteemed judging panel that includes angel investors, venture capitalists, start-up experts and peers. By the end of the night, a winner will be chosen! Networking will take place before and after the pitches – learn what it takes to raise capital and launch a successful business. For HBS alumni in the venture or angel investing community as well as service providers, this is an outstanding opportunity to meet a great set of startup companies with HBS founders.
