A Casual Eco-Friendly Dinner with Guest Speaker Kathleen Frith (La Canada Flintridge)

Join us for a special talk on health, sustainability, and the environment by Guest Speaker Kathleen Frith, Managing Director of the Harvard Medical School Center for Health and the Global Environment, and founder of Harvard’s first community garden.  She is an expert in science communication and education who focuses primarily on connections among global environmental change, oceanic health, food, and human health.  She is also the Founder and Director of the Pleiades Network, Inc., a constellation of women working for a sustainable world, and is dedicated to finding innovative ways to foster social change and create a healthier, more sensible world.  Dinner with vegetarian and vegan options ordered from local sustainable food vendors will be served.  This is a casual, low-waste dinner event (bring your own non-disposable diningware).
