Veritas Book Club 'Open House' at the Taix Restaurant
Please join us for our 'Open House' book discussion at the popular Taix restaurant where Jerry Rabow will discuss his first book Fifty Jewish Messiahs.

Inaugurated in 2010 by Shoshona Robinson, and currently directed by Phreda Devereaux, the Veritas Book Club selects and discusses an interesting book on the last Tuesday (usually) of the month. Hoping to attract new members, the book club invites HCSC members to join them at a special “Open House” book discussion on Tuesday, October 23 , 2012, at the popular Taix restaurant at 7 PM for dinner and discussion. Long-standing Club member Jerry Rabow, will discuss his first book “Fifty Jewish Messiahs.” He will describe the history and characteristics of these individuals and his own pathway in becoming an author (Jerry is a retired attorney who has just completed writing his fourth book).
Recent books read by the club include Gone Girl: A Novel by Gillian Flynn, 1421: The Year China Discovered America by Gavin Menzies , and The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Divided by Politics and Religion by Jonathan Haidt. Book Club members select and discuss a book on a rotating basis.
Attending the “Open House” does not obligate one to join the Club, of course.
