The Pageant of the Masters, recently featured in The New York Times Magazine, is one of the most unique productions in the country. Audiences are amazed and enchanted by ninety minutes of tableaux vivants (“living pictures”), incredibly faithful re-creations of classical and contemporary works of art, with real people posing to look exactly like their counterparts in the original pieces.

“The Pursuit of Happiness“ will explore the many sources of happiness, both ancient and modern, through the theatrical performance of “living pictures.” The 2015 Pageant of the Masters will be a sentimental journey through depictions of pastimes and activities that gave people joy long before the instant gratification of the computer age.

Please join us for our annual trip to see this memorable event in Laguna Beach. We have excellent Main Tier Center seats and will host a light food and drink event before the show at the picnic on the grounds of the venue. Attendees can also see live music and visit the Festival of Arts, one of the nation's oldest fine art shows. Incidentally, HCSC board member German Enciso is scheduled to perform in one of the tableaus at the Pageant this year.

Please notice that the cost includes ticket convenience fee and free appetizers and drinks before the show.

Cost: $75 (Main Tier Center)
