Earn bragging rights by hiking to the highest point in the San Gabriel Range and LA County—10,064 feet! Ever wonder about that snow-capped peak in the distance as you drive east down the freeway? That's Mount Baldy! With the help of a chairlift, you can reach the sweeping views from the summit in just a couple of (reasonably strenuous) hiking hours. After the hike, reward yourself with beer and food from the Top of the Notch Restaurant at 8000 feet elevation.
