THIS IS YOUR BRAIN ON EXERCISE.

Recent neuroscience research has uncovered a treasure trove of information on the mechanisms by which physical exercise exerts a profound impact on cognitive abilities and mental health. Using the book SPARK - The Revolutionary New Science of Exercise and the Brain by John J. Ratey, M.D., associate clinical professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, as our jumping off point, we will discuss the implications of these findings for education and for lifelong wellness.

Moderating our discussion will be Melissa Golde, Doctor of Physical Therapy. Dr. Golde is the clinical director and owner of Think, an interdisciplinary functional medicine practice in Calabasas, with over a decade of experience in neuromuscular therapies, movement re-education and women's health.

Everybody welcome. Come and air your views!
